Natural Studio Kit
--- http://www.natural-studio.co.uk/ns_kit.htm

NB: The exs instruments for this kit derive from the Gig format version of the NSKit V6 and that is the only version which will work the the instrument definitions since they refer to the mono waves which are created when you convert the Gig file to EXS24 format.

You might want to get the NS J-Bass while you are at it -- an excellent bass in SF2 format.

You will need SFArk to decompress the SF2 -- SfArk can be found here:

Some explanation of the Multi-out kits:

I use these kits in a multi-channel instance of the EXS24 and I follow the same pattern with all my kits so I can easily substitute one kit for another. If you want to re-route the samples it is easy to do it in the instrument editor.

If you load these Multi-out kits into a stereo instance of EXS24 they will default to stereo output and you will probably want to adjust the relative volumes of the various groups (hats, snare etc) to suit your tune. If you load them into a Multi-Channel instance of the EXS24 they will be mapped to the first 5 stereo outputs as follows:
Kick -- Main outs
Snare -- Alt 3-4
Hats - Alt 5-6
Toms - Alt 7-8
Cymbals Alt 9-10

If you want to use the multi-out setup of these kits you will need to:

A) set up 4 Stereo Aux objects in your audio mixer

and

B) assign the outputs of the EXS24 multi-channel instance (the one with the kit loaded) to these aux objects

The aim of splitting the kit outputs is to allow separate processing (eg compression and Eq, reverb send levels etc) of the different parts of the kit and easy control of the relative volumes using the Mixer.

The Roto Tom amples in the 2nd version of the Sonor Kit (Sonor Kit Full Roto CR Dual out.exs) have two sets of samples -- close mic and room.

The room samples are routed to the Alt 9-10 outputs to facilitate balancing them with the close samples. You could alter this so that they are routed to the same output as the close samples if you prefer and balance the levels with the volume controls on the groups.

Have fun.
